Call for CSR Project Proposals

Proposal and key Focus Areas

We are now accepting project proposals from registered CSR Implementing partners to execute programs in Bangalore and/or Chennai only on the below given focus areas

  • Ensuring environmental sustainability and contributing to the preservation of nature
  • The protection of the oceans and water conservation

We seek to support programs which are impactful, measurable, work at scale and will initiate and drive positive change in the larger communities around.

Eligibility Criteria:

We will accept proposals only from registered CSR Implementing Partners based in India who fulfill the following criteria:

  • Section 8 company or a registered trust or a registered society, established by the Central or State Government; or
  • any entity established under an Act of Parliament or a State legislature; or
  • a section 8 company, or a registered public trust or a registered society, registered under section 12A and 80G of the Income Tax Act, 1961, and having an established track record of at least three years in undertaking similar activities.
  • The entity must have valid CSR & FCRA Registration issued by the Central Government.
  • The entity must have an established track record of executing projects successfully, with tangible measurement criteria, and a strong governance and reporting framework in place
  • The entity should be able to clearly demonstrate their expertise in the areas of focus listed above in the proposal that they submit along with credentials of earlier projects handled on this focus area

Mandatory Documents to be Furnished:

  1. Copy of Registration/incorporation certificate of the entity to establish legal entity status (i.e., Trust, Society or Sec 8 Company).
  2. Trust Deed/MOA
  3. Copy of registration certificate issued under section 12A and 80G of the Income Tax Act.
  4. CSR registration Certificate issued by Central Govt.
  5. FCRA Registration Certificate (mandatory) as our CSR funding will be only FCRA and the CSR funds will be transferred only to main FCRA account and not to any other domestic account of the entity.

Note: Please REFRAIN from applying if you do not meet any of the above conditions/criteria.

How to Apply:

  • The project proposal should clearly outline tangible goals, each activity & timelines, plan of execution and budget, along with the nature and quantum of assistance required
  • Prepare your proposal in the Due Diligence form–format and send it to GSC-CSR-NEWPROPOSALS@SOCGEN.COM
  • File size should not exceed 12 MB. For bigger files, please split into two and send in two separate emails with the same subject line.

Acceptance criteria:
If a proposal is shortlisted for selection, Societe Generale Global Solution Centre will contact the applicant within 8 weeks from the date of submission, for further discussions.
