Sunil Shah
Global Head, Societe Generale’s Global Solution Centres in India and Romania
Sunil Shah is Global Head, Societe Generale’s Global Solution Centres in India and Romania, & CEO, Societe Generale’s Global Solution Centre in India. He oversees the operations of the offices in Bangalore, Chennai and Bucharest, delivering Information Technology, Banking Operations, Finance and Research services to Societe Generale’s entities worldwide.
Sunil has over 25 years of experience in the Information Technology (IT) and Banking, Financial Services and Insurance (BFSI) sectors. He joined Societe Generale Global Solution Centre in 2011 and was appointed as the CEO in 2018. Prior to this role, Sunil worked with Fidelity for over seven years where he led the Asset Management IT team. He has also worked with Infosys for over a decade managing large programs for financial services firms and consulting assignments across India and globally.
Sunil holds a degree in Computer Science Engineering from the University of Mysore, and an MBA from INSEAD, Singapore and France.
Andreea Parneci
Deputy Head of GTPS, Societe Generale
Andreea Parneci started her career in 1998 at PriceWaterhouseCoopers, before joining the General Inspection of Crédit Lyonnais in 2002. In 2005, she joined Societe Generale in Paris, in the internal audit department of the investment bank, and was then appointed Head of the audit of the Group's Central Departments and associated subsidiaries. In 2014, she joined the Group's Finance Department where she managed DEVL/SRC, a team in charge of supervising the Group's structural risks, and then became Deputy to the ALM Department (DFIN/ALM). In 2017, she was appointed Chief Financial Officer of GTPS and in 2021 Deputy head of GTPS.
Andreea is a chartered accountant and a graduate of the University of Paris-Dauphine.
Laurent Caillot
Global Chief Information Officer for GBIS, Societe Generale
Laurent Caillot started his career at Goldman Sachs in 1998, building electronic trading platforms and collateral management systems for the Investment Bank, leading teams in London and then New York. After a few years in Technology Consulting delivering innovative digital transformations, he joined Barclays Investment Bank in 2012 to lead the “Front Office Risk, Pricing & Analytics” Technology. In 2014, he became Global Head of Capital & Analytics Technology at JP Morgan Chase, responsible for the re-engineering and computation of Capital calculations, Finance Forecasting and Stress Tests across the firm. In 2019, Laurent joined AXA IM where he led the Technology, Operations, Data Management, Project & Change Management, Cybersecurity and Procurement functions. He was Chairman of the Board of AXA IM entities in France, Luxembourg, Switzerland and in the APAC region. In July 2023, he joined Societe Generale as Global Chief Information Officer for GBIS.
Laurent graduated in computer science from ENSIIE in 1997.
Ranjeet Santhakumar
Corporate & Investment Banking, IT & Operations Head, Societe Generale Global solution centre India and Romania
Ranjeet heads the Corporate & Investment Banking (GBIS) IT & Operations setup in India and Romania, with over 4,500 staff members.
Ranjeet has been with Societe Generale’s Global Solution Centre in India for the last 16 years, playing various leadership roles in GBIS. Prior to Societe Generale, Ranjeet worked for five years on greenfield IT projects for Deutsche Bank, Morgan Stanley, Merill Lynch, Standard Chartered, HDFC Bank and BNP Sharekhan.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in Statistics & IT, and an MBA in Finance & IT.
